Small-scale farmers in Latin America provide essential food supplies for the region’s growing population.

Yet many farmers need training in sustainable farming and animal health practices in order to increase production, generate an income sufficient to support their families, and ensure their families' survival.

Sustainable farming leads to higher crop yields, proper environmental safeguards, improved nutrition, as well as increased self-reliance, since farmers can sell their crops for a profit, while still maintaining enough food to feed their families. In this way, sustainable agricultural techniques improve the community’s well-being and overall quality of life.

Our partners in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela are helping farming families in rural areas improve their livelihoods and conserve natural resources.
