Our longtime supporters know that summer begins with The Resource Foundation’s (TRF’s) Dancing on the Water.  Not only has this event helped raise awareness for the causes we support and TRF’s mission, but it has also served as an opportunity for TRF’s Board to honor its donors, staff and catch up with old friends.  As many of you may remember from last year’s event, TRF has decided to retire Dancing on the Water in Larchmont for a new event that will be held in New York City in the fall.

We hope that you will join us on October 22nd at the Yale Club for TRF’s New York City benefit.  The event will provide the opportunity to learn more about the great work of TRF’s local partners, such as TRF’s newest affiliate, Fundación Rafa Marquez Fútbol y Corazón, and allow you to support TRF.

The photo above is just one of the images from TRF’s affiliate agencies that will be featured at the event.  Lucas Pérez Sánchez, pictured here together with his wife and daughter, participates in Educampo, the signature program of another of TRF’s affiliates, Fundación Mexicana por el Desarrollo Rural (Fundar).  Through Educampo, an integral rural development program for small producers, Lucas and his family have improved their productivity and increased their income, while contributing to the development of the state of Chiapas.
