Aimee Sostowski, Program Director
Aimee Sostowski, Program Director, joined The Resource Foundation in 2009. She is the primary liaison for The Resource Foundation’s affiliate organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her work focuses on the promotion of knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices among the network, facilitating networking opportunities, and providing support on fundraising and capacity building initiatives. Ms. Sostowski also advises corporate, foundation, and individual donors on their charitable investments to Latin America and the Caribbean, and collaborates with nonprofit organizations in the region.

Prior to joining The Resource Foundation, Aimee worked at The Rockefeller Foundation on The Philanthropy Workshop, a donor education program in strategic philanthropy. In this role, she helped to launch donor collaboratives making grants to support grassroots organizations in Mexico and pluralistic civil society in Iran and Pakistan. Aimee’s professional experience includes work at a resource center for Latin American immigrants where she was responsible for coordinating fundraising and organizational development activities as well as a consultancy with Development Alternatives Inc. to conduct a benchmarking study of the global cashew industry. She has also worked in and consulted on community development projects in Brazil, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Mexico.

Aimee holds a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A in International Relations from Wellesley College. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
