The Resource Foundation Receives 4-Star Rating For a Fourth Year In a Row.
The Resource Foundation has received Charity Navigator’s highest rating of four-stars for the fourth consecutive year in recognition of its sound fiscal management. This rating signifies that The Resource Foundation is one of only 8% of the over 5,500 charities that Charity Navigator evaluates which has received this “exceptional” designation over four consecutive years.
Charity Navigator is the nation’s leading, independent charity evaluator. Through its data-driven rating system, it is able to highlight the work of effective and efficient charities and provide donors with essential information required to give them greater confidence in the charitable choices they make. As Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator pointed out in his award letter, “as the nonprofit sector continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, savvy donors are demanding more accountability, transparency and quantifiable results from the charities they choose to support with their hard-earned dollars.” The four-star rating “differentiates The Resource Foundation from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”

Charity Navigator applies rigorous analysis to its rating system, which examines an organization’s efficient application of funds and its capacity to manage growth in programs and services. The report on The Resource Foundation indicated that 93.4% of organizational revenue was dedicated to programs.
