The Resource Foundation supports 198 effective and reputable nonprofit organizations in 28 countries that work to increase the self-reliance of the region’s disadvantaged.

All organizations in the network are local nonprofit organizations that have direct knowledge of local cultural, political and socio-economic realities, and are experienced in meeting the needs of the communities in which they work.

The network includes 41 affiliated organizations and 157 associated organizations. The Resource Foundation provides its affiliated organizations with fundraising support and an array of nonprofit management and advisory services. Associated organizations, which have been identified by or for our donors, receive grantmaking and administration services. The Resource Foundation monitors and evaluates all supported projects on a semi-annual basis.

All organizations in the network undergo a rigorous due diligence process each year a grant is approved. Our due diligence procedures surpass all governing standards for international grantmaking. The process includes a comprehensive analysis of the proposed organization, program, and more, as well as additional verification that the organization is legitimate and experienced.
